About Me

Hey, I’m Jo and I live in Ottawa, Ontario with my husband of 3+ years and my dog Peewee.

I’m a metalhead with piercings and tattoos and I love going to concerts. I love TV shows like Supernatural, Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries, Firefly, The Big Bang Theory and so on…  I love comedy and horror movies the most and could just get lost in those for days at a time.

I’m a hardcore gamer who is always looking for some people to play with so if you are interested let me know. Some of my favourite games are any COD games, Halo, GOW, Borderlands, Final Fantasy, The Last of Us, Dead Rising… Needless to say, I have way too much time on my hands and a lot of hobbies!

I decided to start this blog because I’ve been reading for so long, yet I never really connected with anyone over it until this last year when I met my friend who happens to be a blogger (Yay, Kelsey!). This was a brand new world for me and it just intrigued me more then anything to the extent that I just had to start one for myself. I LOVE reading and I have hundreds of books that I haven’t even gotten to yet, unfortunately. The main reason I started this is that I wanted to be able to remember certain things about the books I read, and I also wanted to share my opinion with others… So, this made sense!

This is a way to talk to some more people who have the same interests as me. I’m pretty open minded when it comes to reading, and I read almost anything but my favourite genre is definitely YA paranormal books. Any advice would be nice and appreciated. I get along with almost everyone (no matter what interests you have) so if you want to chat, follow me on Twitter.
