#FF Feature and Follow #1: Guilty Pleasures
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
This week’s question:
What are your non-book guilty pleasures? Like TV shows, food, websites, hobbies, etc.
Video games! I’m obsessed with them and I own all the newer consoles (except the Wii U) and have about 100 games. I love Xbox! Even though I own the PS3 and PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One are my true loves. It’s been a borderline addiction the last almost 8 years (since I met my husband, I’m more of a gamer than him now!) up until recently when I started blogging.
Just imagine this: I have my expensive turtle beach headset (only gamers can understand how important this is), a bunch of friends on Xbox live (look at me mom, I’m popular, haha) and my rager personality that goes well for gaming… A match made in heaven!
The main games I play regularly and am REALLY into are: Call of Duty and Halo. If I want something more mellow I play Sims (3 or Pets) on Xbox 360 sometimes but I’m really addicted to Sims 3 on PC with all my expansions and Sim City because I’m super cool. That’s not even mentioning the other games I play semi-regularly.
I’m a gamer chick and I kick ass. I’m not the best but I have a ton of fun, I’m better than my husband, brother and a lot of competitive men (Yeah, suck it! lol). I’m always looking for new friends to play with online so don’t hesitate to mention if you’re a gamer and then we could add each other!
I’ve decided to focus on only one non-book guilty pleasure because I can usually say a lot on basically anything and that way I’ll still have things to write for future posts.

Hopping through. I’ve never played Call of Duty or Halo. I imagine I’d like it though. The only game sorta like that I’ve ever played was Doom. Someone hacked into my school computer system in high school and installed it on all the computers. Made our computer programming class (where our teacher disappeared for half the class) a lot of fun.

They are pretty awesome if you like first person shooters. Doom is a good game too. Haha, that’s great! It Sounds like it was a wonderful teacher but it gave you a chance to try it that way.

My sons are big into video games and,I am amazed how many friends he has made with it all over the world (considering it is thought of as an activity you do on your own in your bedroom etc) – gamers, he found, are actually a social lot. I can’t be tempted with it though.

I know, it’s really surprising! When I started playing video games, I was expecting a bunch of angry teenagers who didn’t want to talk to anyone and would just swear at me all the time, haha. While that is the case sometimes, most are nice and just want others to play games with. Heh, yeah video games aren’t everyone and that’s okay 🙂

Wii is fun too, I haven’t played it much the last few years but I used to play Zelda, Super Mario Bros and the bowling on there all the time. I usually play dancing games on my Xbox.
